Testing Universal C++ & Qt Python Build Script

Download the Python Script

The script is named build.py and is placed in the root of a project directory.

Linux

Create a project directory and download the script and make it executable.

mkdir -p ~/cpp-project
cd ~/cpp-project 
wget https://www.scanframe.com/export/build.py && chmod +x build.py

Windows

Create a project directory and download the script.

mkdir "%USERPROFILE%\cpp-project"
cd "%USERPROFILE%\cpp-project"
powershell -Command "Invoke-WebRequest -Uri 'https://www.scanframe.com/export/build.py' -OutFile 'build.py'"

Assuming Python is installed.

Testing the Python Script

Install the Project

On Linux:

__DEV=1 ./build.py install --project

On Windows:

set __DEV=1
build.py install --project

Note:: __DEV is a development flag that enables downloading from scanframe.com/export. On Windows *.py scripts are executable when Python is installed.
