KDE Plasma Kickoff Resize Fix (Start Menu)

In KDE 5.27, the start menu is not resizable. To fix this, edit the file FullRepresentation.qml needs two lines to be commented out.

Full path to edit is:

/usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.kickoff/contents/ui/FullRepresentation.qml

The lines 32 and 34 are to be commented out like in the following snippet:

    Layout.minimumWidth: implicitWidth
    //Layout.maximumWidth: PlasmaCore.Units.gridUnit * 80
    Layout.minimumHeight: implicitHeight
    //Layout.maximumHeight: PlasmaCore.Units.gridUnit * 40
    Layout.preferredWidth: Math.max(implicitWidth, width)
    Layout.preferredHeight: Math.max(implicitHeight, height)

    ...
}

To make the change have an effect, run the next command:

plasmashell --replace

⚠ After a reboot it could not work anymore, and the command above needs to be run again.
